ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Miah Prescod is a first-generation American writer and artist of Trinidadian descent, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Inspired by the world around her and the changes she wants to see in it, her work touches on a number of topics ranging from Blackness to self-love, her culture, and more. She has performed at Performing Arts Mosaic (PAM) and is a freshman at Sarah Lawrence College. One of Prescod’s life goals is to have her own publishing company, designed with the intention of amplifying Black voices and dedicated to putting them at the forefront of the literary world.
